Majestix League Season 38 – X-Men: Rise and Fall

Duration: August 31st to October 19th
Time & Day: Tuesdays, 6:30pm-9:30pm
Cost: $35 initial entry (1st tournament you play in; you get 2 boosters; subsequent weeks entry will be $18-$23, and you choose from below:
*1 regular 5-figure booster
*1 colossal 5-figure booster
*4-single figure boosters (pre-Captain Marvel set)
*3-single figure boosters (Captain Marvel and up); or 2 pre-Captain Marvel and 2 post-Captain Marvel
Format: Constructed (300pts-600pts)
- you can only use the figures you pull from the boosters you get each week (or Draft picks)
- you can only use Feats and Special Objects from the boosters you open unless otherwise stated
- standard objects are legal
- Swiss rounds, 3 Rounds; 45-min rounds; End of Match procedure is Last Round
- Each league event will have a different format (points and restrictions)
Prizing: A small amount from each entry will go into a prize pool which will be given out at the end of the season; each league event will have minimal prizing; awards will be given out at the end of the season in the form of store credit, boosters, LEs, entry into future tournaments/leagues; Awards for Top Finishers (Gold, Silver, Bronze medals)
Playoffs: The Top 4 aggregate score (based on Wins, Win %, League Points, and Aggression Rating) will advance to the Playoffs the following week
Eligibility: Anyone can join, but in order to be qualified for Awards, you must enter a minimum of 4 league events
Tracking: Each player will be responsible for keeping track of their booster pulls. Each player will receive a sheet to document each game element they receive/open. That player must write down all items at the beginning of each event, and turn it in to the Commissioner (me!) at the end of that event. The information will then be put into a database. Random checks will occur throughout the season, and the list of items MUST match the list in the database.
Penalty: Any discrepancies will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis and penalties can and will include disqualification from the current event, deducting league points, and forfeiting wins.
Point-System: We will be using the following for League Points to determine Playoff seeding Match Win – 1pt (each)
KO at least half points – 1pt (per Match)
KO the entire opposing force – 1pt (per Match)
Playing a Themed Team for an Event – 1pt
Playing a League Match – 1pt (each)
Playing a League Event – 1pt
Playing in 4 League Events – 1pt
Playing in 6 League Events – 1pt
Playing in ALL League Events – 2pts
Going 3-0 in an Event – 2pts
Going 2-1 in an Event – 1pt
Playing a League Match – 1pt
Playing a League Event – 1pt
Playing in 4 League Events – 1pt
Playing in 6 League Events – 1pt
Playing in ALL League Events – 2pts
